Dual Network Cards
Would throwing 2 network cards in 2 machine and hookin them both to my router increase network speed and bandwith between the two machines?

No, you would just have two seperate, slower, net connections for each system.

the only reason to have two network cards in a machine is if it is a gateway for the other machine.

you could, however, have 2 network cards in each machine.. use 1 pair of nic's to connect the 2 machines...
and the other pair to connected to a router to take you to an outside network :shrug: |
