firewire ics

i have recently set up a firewire home network and i am able to share files and what not. after going to windows set up and installing ICS for connection sharing, upon restarting i can no longer get on the internet on my main machine with the connection. what should i do to get it back? and what should i do to get my connection shared?

ICS should be installed only on the internet server. Use the client disk on the other computers on the nw that you want to have access to the internet thru the server. The client disk will configure the nw settings for you. Cold boot on all.
