Question Networking using phoneline NIC's

Could someone give me a step-by-step intruction on setting up my LAN using phoneline NIC's....I want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.....because it doesn't want to work for me

I'm running XP Pro on my server + cable modem, clients have 98se. (that's right, 2+ clients) My NIC's are installed and function. I DON NOT want to use the provided software because it(with my NIC's) because they are VERY unstable. I would really prefer using Windows networking protocols, etc...

I also want to intall ICS, but it WILL NOT work for me either!

Thanks!

What are the make and model of the hardware you are using? I've not heard of network cards being unstable.

Intel Anypoint running on the server - USB 10mbps, and PCI 10mbps on one of the clients. Its not the network card that is unstable - its the Aypoint Sharing + Mapping software + the icluded ISS (They don't like XP Pro)
