DSL to Cable

Hey everybody,

I maybe switching over to Cable from DSL. So I can have Cable Modem, and 3 Cable boxes instead of 1 Cable box and DSL.

I have a LINKSYS DSL/Cable Router with a built in HUB.

How do I properly remove the DSL settings so I can apply the Cable Modem settings? Do I just rerun the installation software once I have the Cable Modem setup?

Would I have to clear everything out in the Router admin page?

Do I have to do anything in WIN2K besides removing the DSL software(I don't use it).

Thanks guys!

[Does anybody know if CHARTER Cable Modem is offered with Dynamic IP address? Static IP Address? Does it connect using DHCP(Dynamic IP address? Thanks guys]

all you need to do is hook the router up to the new modem and rerun the installation software, inputting the new settings provided to you by your provider.
