how to block TCP port

Hi guys,

is there a command to block TCP port ??

Example : port 21 - FTP
Port 23 - Telnet
80 - HTTP

how will i block for instance 4096 or whatever.???

Hi wide angle,

Just download a firewall program like Zone Alarm so you can keep tracks of which programs use what ports, and block any that you don't want. If you're using Win2K/XP, you can enable TCP/IP Filtering to block the specific ports as well. Hope that helps.
