Question IBM 4 way auto switch

I have an IBM 4 way auto switch (IEEE-1284) and cant get it working. Im using it for 2 comps with 1 printer. The floppy that came with it, has drivers from win95 and win98. Im using win ME and XP. Am I out of luck or are there drivers that will work. Ive already tried IBM site and driverguide.com and A few more with no luck. I came here for the smartest guys on the planet.

Parallel printer switches are not recommended these days - there is too much potential for damaging the printer logic boards and the parallel ports. You would better serve your needs by networking the 2 machines and either sharing the printer from one machine or using an Ethernet print server.
