XPHOME/W2K Pro

I just tried to network my 2 WIN XP Home machines with a new WIN 2000 Pro machine. I cannot access the WIN 2000 machine. When I try I get "No access rights" warning. I'm sure this is just a setting to change. Could some one please direct me to the right place?

You need to create an account on both PC's. For instance when you log into your XP box you use "type A" account. So on the 2000 box you need to add "type A" account to have whatever permissions you want it to have and vice versa. If you want more detailed information let us know. But that is pretty much your solution summed up in a nutshell.

Also, I didn't have to do this when I set up my 2 Win XP machines on my network. What is the difference?

Now it wants a user name and password, I didn't assign one.
I can access the two WIN XP machines fro the win 2000 machine and I can print from it too. But I can't access the win 2000 box from the other two??

Please disregard this post, I have resolved the issue. For those that are interested, the problem was in the workgroup name. I named it MSHOME when I installed the OS. It some how got changed and I had to rename it MSHOME. Now everything works just like it's supposed to. Thanks for the help!!
