Creating a lan with RASPPPOE protocol....
Like the title says any know how to do this or where i should begin looking to do this? I'll be networking 2 computers running win 2000 pro edition using a D-Link 5 port 10/100mbps switch. Thanks

I don't know about RASPPOE, but I have networked my PPOE DSL with the use of a router. The router detected my DSL access as PPOE, and it just asked me to type in my user and pass and I was all set
Check if the D-link comes with a setup utility. |

That's the way I did mine, the router made it so easy.

If you use RASPPPoE, you will have to use ICS and a second NIC. A router is a much better solution. If you still want to use RASPPPoE, here's the scoop:

Linksys BEFSR41, has a 4-port switch built in.

You won't need it, the router will do all the work. All you have to do is configure the router.
