I got a sweet deal on a Diamond external 2730. Here I thought all 2730's were PC serial, but the one I got turns out to be a MAC serial.
![]() Any way I can save this modem for my PC, like a Mac serial converter or splicing on a fresh serial cable, or is the guts of the modem different??? Thanks, el G |

Found some instructions for making a Mac to PC serial adapter:
http://www.the-monkey.net/things/new...ialadapter.php As both the PC and Mac is essential the same modem (SUP2730), I'm gonna give it a go. Will most likely flash the modem with the flash upgrade for PC also. Wish me luck.
