Hi all
I recently installed ICS on a windows 98 machine. I configured ICS on the windows 2000 machine which is the client. I gave it an ip address and configured the gateway and dns to be the servers(win98 comp with internet connection) ip address. The internet now works fine. However I can't connect to the windows 98se computer's harddrive anymore through windows 2000 comp. Any ideas? When I try to ping the windows 2000 computer from the windows 98 machine I get a "request timed out error" Although I can ping the win98 comp from the windows 2000 comp just fine? Any ideas on how to fix this? Thx. P.S. See my threads in the windows 2000 forum for more details. |
