I am having trouble using black ice as a firewall on my small network. I use win2k w/dhcp and have pc's and mac's using DAVE to share. When I have black ice on, I have very sporadic success connecting the pc's, and no success connecting the mac's. I assume it is seeing them as hostile and blocking them. I tell black ice to trust these users and I can get all users connected, but since I'm using dhcp, the next session they log on with diff ip's and I have to 'trust' them again every session.
I can't figure out a way to set this up and I see no help at their site. thanks |

Persoanlly, I would dump BID and get ZoneAlarm from http://www.zonelabs.com It's free and IMHO a better product.
