dns problems

I configured dns during the basic setup of the W2K server. I had to remove my fowardards after I realized that I have set it up incorrectly. Now my dns is with my service provider. But I keep getting errors in my event log stating that it can't register with the first dns server IP address. I have no ref. to the old IP address in my network properties. But it keep sayings that it could not register. Where else would my computer be getting the referance for my old dns information. besides network properties?

Check in your DHCP add in, that is if you are using DHCP services on this server.
