Cool

You probably should only run one firewall as you might get conflicts.

Are you using the Kerio firewall?

What os are you running?

WIN XP has a good firewall if you aren't using the Kerio one.

Yes, Zone Alarm is one of the better firewalls. They have two versions, the free one, and the "Pro" version. They are virtually the same but the free one is for a single machine, and the Pro verions is for more than one on a home network.

I run in on my own systems and my builds for others.

If you are already running Kerio, you shouldn't need another one.

I agree, you don't need to run more then one.

1 firewall
1 antivirus program.

Don't expect one to work as the other. We get people all the time that uninstalled their antivirus because we tell them they have a firewall in the router. Don't make that mistake

Kerio is an awesome firewall. very secure!
I run PC-Cillin 2003 as my virus scanner as well. Norton 2003 is another good antivirus program.

Everyone thanks for the info.I purchased a Linksys CABLE /DSL firewall router.Everything is running good .Got the two computer network running very easy.I thought it was going to be a lot more complicated. Both systems are running WIN XP.The DSL is a lot faster than my old dial up and the telephone will still be able to work while I am online.Plus my wife can do her thing on her computer also.
