Transfer Files

I've got two gateway computers in the same room. Both are connected to a Linksys router w/ DSL. Computer A has windows 98 FE and Computer B has windows 2000. I want to transfer files from computer A to computer B, how would I go about doing this? Thanks.

Install File & Print sharing on at least one of the computers, and share at least one resource in My Computer, right click on the resource and select Sharing. On the other system, double click Network Neighborhood, and you should see the system with File & Print Sharing enabled.

If you still encounter issues, install the NETBEUI protocol on both computers, it solves a lot of workgroup browsing issues between W2K or XP systems.

I installed File & Print sharing on the comp with windows 98 and selected sharing, and when I click on network neighborhood I see my comp. When I try to access the first computers c: drive on the other comp, the one I want the files on, I click on network neighborhood, and all I get is the flashlight, saying that it's searching. What's going on? Thanks.
