give me more specs on your problem. You said you are "downloading files and music." Using what program? Is the web browsing slow as well?

No the browser is OK
Onli download speed is slow I tried using Windows default download program and Download Accelerator(DAP) speed is 30-90 kb/sec Another computer has 600 kb/sec for the same file from same web site |

turn on PC 2 and only have PC 1 on and repeat.
Fun a speed test on each PC at www.toast.net and compare the difference If PC one is maybe in the win 9X or ME, maybe system resources are low. Now if you try to download the file on both PC's at the same exact time it would be slower that is why I am suggesting turning off the PC's one at a time to trouble shoot. |
