Recommend a Good Wireless Laptop Card?
Preferably with a connector for an external antenna.
Anyone had good experiences with one, anyones to particularly avoid or anything? Any feedback would be great! cheers |

I like any of the Linksys stuff.

Mine that was issued and manufactured to me by HP works great. My wife uses a netgear card that never gave her any problems. We were about to get her a Linksys card, but when we did research, we found in many sites, www.amazon.com in particular that there were more negative than positive remarks about the Linksys cards. The netgear cards received high ratings, so that is why we went netgear.

The only PCMCIA wireless card that I know of with an antenna connector is the SMC2532W-B. It's high power and a friend who has one tells me it's awesome.
