Question Mediacom and Home Network

Just moved into a new house and got mediacom cable modem. They do something that I have not seen before, there is a page I go to to register(??) the computer. This works fine, then I put my pc behind my router (linksys BEFW11S4) and it does not work ..... so I go out and register it again. It says I have to reboot the pc and router. This does not seem to work. So at the moment I have my pc on the internet and have no access to my network based printers/devices.

I also would like my Tivo to get its downloads using the internet connection.

Any help, advice or websites for me to go look at is appreciated.

Windows XP Home Edition / Motorola Surfboard SB5100 (handles usb and ethernet connection)

they are grabbing the MAC address off the PC's NIC card. you will either have to:

1) Clone the MAC address to your router.(check the documentation from your router on how to do that)
or
2) have the ISP get the MAC address of the router's ethernet port instead (on the phone with their tech support)
