Pissed Internet explore 6.0 Problems Help

help,
I loaded kazaa it works just fine. But there were lots of pop-up. So I loaded kazaap. Which is to stop the pop up? Yes it stops them. But any secure page on the internet can not be viewed. I has wiped out my ablity to see encryption on web pages. How do i fix. Or Can I fix? Uninstalling both kazaa & the Popup blocker doesnt work. Re-loading windows xp prof. doesnt help. Can any body tell me how to fix with out Fdisking and starting over? I really dont want to do that. I also tryied to load Nescape 7.1 it refused to allow any web pages to be seen on it. It wont even allow contact with the web pages.

IE 6 problems

Hmmm... My best guess is that the pop up blocker may have settled itself into IE 6's configuration somewhere and the uninstall missed something. Try this:

Go to the tools menu in Internet Explorer
Choose Internet Options
Go to the Advanced Tab

Under the Browsing section, you should see a checkbox for:
Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)

Uncheck this box and close Internet explorer and reopen it

See if you can browse to the pages that you couldn't browse to before... If this solves your problem, you might have to do some fancy footwork to get the offending software out of IE6... I couldn't even tell you where to begin with it... But I'd try a reinstall of IE6 if the above process solves your problem.

See if this gets you anywhere. Hope it helps

If you havnt already done so, fully remove Kazaa and Kazaap, download Kazaa lite, here: http://www.kazaalite.tk/

The download and run Spybot: Search and Destroy, which you can get here: http://spybot.eon.net.au/

Run that, remove any problems it finds.

Fool around with Internet options, as suggested. Make sure your internet security isnt on max.
