win XP wirless client problem

Ok, I just had a problem put on my desktop. we have a customer that has a wireless card and a wireless Accesspoint.

with win XP
802.11b
the card is installed correctly. but when we try to view available networks, everything is grayed out.
we have replaced both the Homeportal modem and the wireless card.

Any Ideas?

I have access to use remote control on the PC and so far everythign looks perfect, except for the grayed out options.

Also the card, and drivers have been uninstlale,d reinstaleld, TCP reset. the computers works perfect over ethernet but we need to get it wireless.

If it is not listed in Services.msc page, you need to copy the following script to a notepad and save as a .REG file (say wireless.reg)
