Wireless And Wired Network

Hi, i've been thinking about this for a while and what i would like to do is this: I will have my ADSL router connected and have the wired network running from that however is there a way that i can run a cable to some sort of access point for the wireless network? So that it will have access to the network and internet.

Wireless broadband routers allow both wired and wireless connections, at least all that I've ever used do.

Do you mean your Router now is not WIRELESS and you want to run a cable to an ACCESS POINT? Yes, that is feasible, but most access points are not NAT capable, so you can only connect one computer with it to share the Internet. As gunrunnerjohn posted, Wireless Router with switches will do a good job for that.

You don't need NAT for the access point, it simply extends your router to wireless clients. So, yes, that's all you have to do, connect a wireless access point to your router and get some wireless NIC's.
