Slow internet
loaded XP home on a 900mhz 246mb computer.
Has internet but is unbelievably slow. Like the internet takes over 10min to load yahoo.com. Any clues on what It could be.

What kind of connection? Modem, cable, DSL??? Also your computer might be too slow right now to run XP or at least it will run XP, but it will be very choppy and slow on everything.

Its College Ether net...so cable at the least. I thought about that. But the Interface runs smoothly and flawlessly so I dont know.
