help find drivers for old modem please
Hi,
I have this old modem that I wanted to get working on a Win 98SE system and I think I need drivers for it. From the BABT approval number and the OFTEL search pages I know it was made by Modular Technology Plc in Oxford, England. Unfortunatley they seem to have gone out of business and have no website or phone number that works. The model number seems to be HW336PCAM issue 1.1. It's a 33.6K ISA modem and the Rockwell chips are L39.U L3903-57 (C) Rockwell 93 9702 B19656-5 and RCV228DPi R6682-24 (C)Rockwell 94 9708 B17103-3 I haven't had much luck so far googling and I wondered if any of you had a suggestion (or link) where I might find the correct drivers. Conextants website didn't help at all. It also has a bank of eight dip switches and I'd like to know what these do if at all possible. Many thanks in advance. John. |

http://www.easytel.fi/a/modem/mdmwell.inf
Right click on this, and select Save Target. It's the .inf setup file for that modem in 98. |
