Boom networking (sharing files & printers)

I have just set up a network with a router and i have set up the internet & it works but i can not figure out how to share a printer or files

Welcome to the 'Mech. It depends on your knowledge of computers and they're OS. Post you sys specs and these guys will sort you out within and hour or two.

I had problems with mine beacuse I have ZA running on both machines. Plus mine has XP Pro while the other has ME.

ok I have a computer that has windows ME (witch is conectedto the internet by cable) I just got a labtop and have a card that plugs into the side(this computer has windows XP) And i have just set up a linksys broadband router so i could conect to the internet on the labtop and it works. I was wondering if i coud have some pics. or files on the ME computer that could be open by the XP computer

Sure,on the ME machine, if you have file and print sharing enabled under Network Neighborhood, you can right click on a folder (like My Pictures) and select sharing.

Right click on Network Neighborhood and you should find the option, click on it and check the options you want.
