bypassing server

I ahve always heard that you can get more out of your modem... by bypassing the server. Do any ofyou know how to do that?

You can also get faster response by bypassing the modem, and going right to the ISP's office and plugging into the backbone!

I have to agree with bailey, I have no idea what you're talking about...
