Win2K and WinXP Pro network probs

My desktop is running Win2K SP4 and my laptop is WinXP Pro I have the wireless network configured, internet works on both systems, and I can exchange filer from the laptop to the desktop. All the laptops drives show up when viewing the network from the desktop, but all I get when I look at the desktop from the laptop is scheduled tasks and printers.

I wanna be able to share files in both directions. I set the file share in the desktop files, but they still don't show up.

What is up?

Go into My Computer on the Desktop, right click on a drive, and select Sharing. Click New Share and name it something appropriate, also make sure you give yourself the proper permissions, and click OK.

Turn off the XP firewall and make sure NetBios is enabled over TCP/IP - or just install NetBeui on both boxes.
