Wireless router?

What is a good wireless router with a good price?

One more question, if i were to share an internet connection with another computer in the house, would the download and upload speed be reduced to half for each computer?

Thanks.

I'm not too familiar with wireless, but as far as sharing your connection, it wouldn't be reduced in half. If both were on, it would use all the bandwidth that it could, so if one was downloading a file on a "good high-speed" server, the other would notice slow web access. But you have access to the full bandwidth that the wireless adapter allows. so if you only get 10 Mb/s and your connected at 50Mb/s, then it really doesn't matter now does it.

Hopefully that's not too confusing, just trying to help!

I like D-Link and have had good luck with them.

For transferring files between the lanned computers, the tranfer rate will be limited to the slowest of the networked cards. So if you have a mixture of 22 versus 11 mb/s wireless cards, the transfer rate will be 11 (until you turn off the computer with the 11 mb/s card- then the transfer rate will change to 22 mb/s.
