Wireless Network Sharing

I'm at a friends house and we're trying to set up his new wireless network setup. We got one computer (hooked up with cables) to connect to the internet. Then we got the laptop to also connect to the internet. But, we really have no idea how to get the computers to see each other. The wireless one is on xp home and the one hooked up through a wire is 2000 pro. Any suggestions?

Why change the workgroup name? There is no security issue with the workgroup name.
