Network Connection Question
I have a cable modem and at times it seems to slow down im looking in my Network connections folder and under LAN or High-Speed Interent, There are two connections in there one says Local area Connection the other says 1394 Connection. My questions is that in the Local Area Connection under status the speed reads 10.0 Mbps and in 1394 Connection under status it reads 400.0 Mbps they are both set to enable but the Local area Connection is the only one Sending and reciving Packets. The 1394 Connections just say 0. Is this supposed to be like this? I just finished connecting two computers together just to transfer file to each other had a hard time doing it, but now im done and connected my main computer back to my cable modem. Before I did this I downloaded files off the net at speeds of 187.0kbs Just woundering if I messed up anything hooking up the two computers.
