Connect win2k to home network
Trying to connect my office laptop to my home network. The laptop runs Win2k. I followed the help instructions and changed the system settings from domain to workgroup and entered the name of my workgroup. I was prompted to reboot.
Upon reboot the log on screen no longer lists a line for the domain. My user name comes up same as always but the system keeps rejecting my password. Is there a prefix I should add to my user name to identify the workgroup? Thanks as always for any advice. HT |

you might have to creat a new used profile for the new connection, or modify the existing one as admin.

Thanks Bailey. I have admin rights but I can't sign on as admin. Guess I'll have to wait til I get back to the office.
