Wireless connection goes on...off...on...off.
One of my laptops (WinXPpro) has a built in Dell wireless card and is connecting to a Linksys wireless AP. Once in a while, while sitting no more than a few feet away from the AP, you can watch the connection go on and off, on and off. The only way I've been able to fix it is to go into the wireless settings on the laptop and reapply them. Then everything works fine.
Any ideas as to what may be causing the connection to go on/off? Thanks, Wanabe |

2.4 GHz interference - get your cordless phone away from the wireless gear.

Hmmm. Thanks glc. I forgot about both using the same frequency but so far have never had a problem with it. There is an employee just on the other side of the wall from this AP who just got a new cordless phone not long ago.
Thanks, Wanabe |
