hp networking
Im working on my dads pc and he has the cable modem pluged into the usb port but we have diff isp's and my isp wont support his modem but he does have a network card and its found under device manager and says its working and its pluged into my router but i cant get out. Do I have to do some thing els?

Let's backup and start again.
You have two ISP's, who is trying to use what ISP?  Do you have a cable modem too? Please explain a little more clearly what you are trying to accomplish.
