Um.... I just installed XP on my new comp (no prev. OS) and when I click on IE, some file path comes up saying the file cant be found. I know IE is on SP1, which I have, but how do I install Internet Explorer/access the files on Service pack 1?
Thanks, The N00b

you install IE by installing the Service Pack, but then again IE should be installed with XP as default.

Sarge, put the Win XP cd in and go to Start/Run and type "sfc /scannow" without the quotation marks and let it check the windows files. It sounds like something didn't go right with the install.
You can also go to Add/Remove programs and select Windows components on the left and be sure IE is checked...I'm fairly sure it is tho, since you have an icon for it.
