got it, I did a scan with symantec and it found 1 of em, told me to turn off system restore and go in safe mode. I did (netwerked safe mode) and scaned with housecall again, same thing. I just uninstalled sun java and its folder, its gone now. Although im doing a symantec scan right now. I want to know, why did I get 7 viruses in my java folder?
Also, since I am paranoid when it comes to computer security, can you please tell me a good online scanner as a 4th opinion? maybe even a other one for a 5th. edit: Scaned with panda online, clean, still want a 5th opinion though. Theres no such thing as over-kill when it comes to computer security! Last edited by ghost2003; 01-30-2004 at 11:43 PM. |

In this case if you have went through four already a fifth is over kill. Get rid of sun-jave it is nothing but trouble. I have my java disabled in my IE and other things that attract trouble closed and surf anonymous and trouble free.
