Problems reinstalling ethernet controller

I purchased a new 120gb HD the other day. I backed up all my important data to an external HD. I just removed the old drive and added the new drive. I formated and partitioned then proceeded to load Win 2k Pro. I knew that when it was finished that I would need drivers for some of my internal cards. I was able to correct everything except the "Ethernet Controller?" I have a NIC and a wireless PCI card. I don't get a signal wth my wireless card ad I don't get an ip address if I plug in the physical cable to my ethernet card. I knew that it was cause of the Ethernet Controller not setup properly. How can I resolve this? What do you think would have the software/driver to fix this? just let me know.

TIA,
-Snakeyes

If you'd specify the exact make/model of NIC and wireless PCI card, we could probably point you in the right direction. It appears to be a driver issue. Have you tried downloading the current drivers for these devices from the manufacturer?

With Win2K, you have to install the driver for a wireless card BEFORE putting the card in the box.

Thanks to both of you. You were both correct, and my problem was resolved.

Thanks again,
