Picking Up Neighbors Wireless

I set up my wireless connection on my lap top, everything works fine now except this: My wireless connection picks up my neighbors modem also. Every time he turns on his computer my computer will disconnect from my connection and tell me that there is another network connection available. My question is, how do I keep it from disconnection from my network when he signs on?

1) Change the SSID name of your wireless network
2) Change the channel of your network
3) Usually disconnections from secure networks occur when an insecure network pops up (a "feature" of Windows) - tell your neighbor about how wonderfully easy it is to use a network that is unprotected .. "con" him into enabling WPA or WEP.
