Question DSL routers

My router is going out to lunch and I could use some advice on a new brand... My old router is a Linksys 4 port and the problem is I keep losing ports I am down to one now.... this router was only $50 and isn't much bigger than the palm of my hand.....T

I suggest the SMC7004VBR. I personally use the it. I got it for around $30 (I think) and it's also small. It's a very good brand/model. You're not going to have a hard time finding good reviews on it.

I'll second the SMC.. never had a prob with one myself... I did get one back for warranty the other day and they have a lifetime warranty... pretty hassle free getting the RMA#... will just have to see how fast the turnaround is now.

what brand and where can I find them.....looked at a d-link....it has decent reveiws....kids buggin me they cant get online now we're down to one.....ha ha

I've used DLink and Netgear with no problems. SMC is very good too.

Linksys, D-Link, or SMC. Sounds like you have one of those cheap "Network Everywhere" Linksys - those are crap. The real Linksys jobs are good.
