Internet, Wi-fi, and two computers

i currently have a dell desktop running XP which is connected to Bt broadband (DSL) through a modem (just normal ADSL modem, nothing special) which connects into my phone cable and usb on my computer. I'm going to be buying a new computer in the summer but i will be moving it around alot so i can't use cables to network it. I plan on keeping the original comp connected directly to the net, but i'm wondering do i just buy 2 "Belkin 802.11b Wireless USB Adapters" or something similar to connect the computers together, i must have internet access on both of the computers, from what i have found which isn't alot i think this will work or have been completely wrong. The new computer will also be running XP and thanks for any response.

Is there another way of doing this like bluetooth, the computers will be at a max of 10-15 m away from each other with a couple of walls between aswell. Security isn't really a problem.

Do i need a router connected to the BT modem to split the internet? (clutching at straws now)

USB modems cannot be plugged into a router. If you want to use a router, you need something like this which will replace your DSL modem:

Plug your DSL line into it, plug it into your main computer through Ethernet, and get a wireless adapter for the other computer, I recommend this one for compatibility:

If you do not want to go the router route, get a pair of wireless adapters (I do not recommend USB - PCI cards are more reliable) that are capable of running in the "ad hoc" workgroup mode and share your existing USB Internet connection with the builtin XP ICS. A pair of the cards I previously linked to would be appropriate.
