Shared drive
I have a hard drive shared between 2 other computers over my network. If I'm on one of the computers and delete a file from the hdd were does it go? I checked the recycle bins but they aren't in it. How do I set it up so that deleted files go the recycle bin?

The recycle bin does not work across a network. The file goes into the bit bucket. It's possible if you installed the Norton protected recycle bin, it *might* go there, but I can't prove that one way or the other.

I might turn Norton protected recycle bin back on and see if it does. I accidently deleted the wrong folder when I was cleaning out old files, but it wasn't anything I didn't have backed up.

I'm assuming you tried using the built-in search function?? If that didn't work, maybe try Sharescan
