I reinstalled my Home Connect network software, a suggestion from my ISP. I made sure the adapter was installed in the add new hardware.
I still connect at 49,333 but no data transmission, it just sits there???? Not the phone line, tested another PC on it just today, same ISP and dialup number. Everything is set just the same as the computer downstairs, same modem (SupraMax), ISP. Any suggestions on where no to start investigating???? Thanks P.S. I uninstalled Home Connect and the network card, I still see I am connected at 49,333 but no data transfer?? I was using Netzero as a backup ISP, when this problem started, Netzero would still function?? Could Netzeros uninstall damaged my other settings??? |

Does your browser just not work, can you ping sites? If you can't ping, you may have to reinstall TCP/IP and/or dial-up networking to see if that helps. HTH

I uninstalled ME and now things are back to normal, thanks.
