Trouble with XP network wizard

Hi,

I'm trying to network some computers in my house. When click on the XP network connection wizard in the control pannel of my laptop, I get the hour glass, and then nothing happens?

I clicked on the diagnostics menu and it says that my network adaptor 1345 (I think) failed.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rob

I used the device manager to trouble shoot each of my netowrk devices and they all checked out ok. I also tried to update each of their drivers, but no "newer" drivers were detected.

If seems as if my networking wizard will not launch for some reason. Any other ideas?
