ADSL PCMCIA Modem

Have a customer that would like to purchase an ADSL PC card modem instead of a USB ADSL modem one for his new laptop.
Can't find anything on the Net - does anyone know if such a thing exists?

Nope. USB and Ethernet externals (and PCI internals for desktops) are all that exist.

If it was me, I could get an ethernet modem, wireless router, and wireless PCMCIA card for my laptop. I am a firm believer in laptops are born to be free.

Unfortunately, when they try to go free on their own, they end up in little pieces on the floor.

Thanks everyone for their input - I will communicate your sentiments to the customer.
I guess FREE is a relative concept - particularly where laptops are concerned.
