ADSL PCMCIA Modem
Have a customer that would like to purchase an ADSL PC card modem instead of a USB ADSL modem one for his new laptop.
Can't find anything on the Net - does anyone know if such a thing exists?

Nope. USB and Ethernet externals (and PCI internals for desktops) are all that exist.

If it was me, I could get an ethernet modem, wireless router, and wireless PCMCIA card for my laptop. I am a firm believer in laptops are born to be free.

Thanks everyone for their input - I will communicate your sentiments to the customer.
I guess FREE is a relative concept - particularly where laptops are concerned. |
