simple password question

Hey, some days my IQ is my shoe size, what can I say?
I got a router a couple days ago, and it has 4 ports on it. So I am going to hook up 4 PC's.
No problem untill I have em all up and running. One PC is requiring a password to see the files in it.
It shows up in the netwrk connections window of the other PC's.
It can see all the other PC's and get into the files on them.
Using xp pro on it and other PC along with 98. It has XP pro on it.
When I loaded XP(on the one not talking) I did not put in a passord for the admin. because I am not keeping it up and running. Could that be it?
I made a new user (admin) with a password but no go.
I'm sure its something simple, I juist need to leave it alone for awhile.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
