AppleTalk in XP?
Is it possible to install the AppleTalk protocol in WinXP Pro? I can't seem to find it when trying to add a new protocol. TIA.

No, Appletalk is proprietarily Apple, and it's a rather old service at that. Why do you need Appletalk in XP?

To communicate with Apple computers on my network. Looks like it can be found in 98, I just couldn't find it in XP.
Edit* I guess I could just use TCP/IP... Doh! Thanks |

I assume they are much older Macs, since TCP/IP is much better and faster. As for 98 having AppleTalk compatibility, I never knew that, so if that is the case, there might be a way to do it in XP, but TCP/IP is still superior to AppleTalk if you have a choice.

Thanks for the confirmation bossman. I knew there was a reason I couldn't find it... it wasn't there to begin with! Thanks again.
