Question Dial Up Connection.

If I connect try to connect to the web on dial up with no phone tone/Service will I still be able to connect to the web on a dial up modem?

You mean to say, you don't have a dial tone?

Every dial-up modem I've worked with required a dial-tone. I don't know if theres something special out there that might help you out, sorry.

Well the place where the pc is at does not have a dial tone. either the occupant wont get phone service.

It sounds like your saying if you hook up to a phone line that is not turned on by the phone company. Then the answer is no. It's like trying to hook up a phone to line that is has not been turned on by the phone company. It won't work.
