Which Router?
I am looking at buying a router and am wondering which one is the best and most reliable. I will be using a cable modem. Anyone help?
I went on Linksys's website and saw that I could set up a Hot Spot with their WRV54G and could earn money when people use my router to connect to the internet. Anyone know anything about this? Which router should I get? Thanks. The Snake |

Netgear, Linksys, D-Link, they are all good. First, determine what capabilities you need (wired? wireless? 4-port? More?) and find a router that meets these specifications. Then you can shop around for price. I have a Netgear RP614v2 and it works fine.
Yes, it is possible to set up a WiFi hotspot with a wireless router. Your ISP may not allow you to do that with residential broadband service, however; check your terms of acceptable use. |
