Router,modem pauses after long use
I have 2 pcs connected to the D-Link DI-704P. My modem is Aztech 305E.
The problem is after long periods connected to the internet, the internet activity stops. Its like the router could not connect to the modem, & the modem is in standby mode(not ready to transfer data). Long periods, like 2/3 days, sometimes random, then a pause happens. i try going to the 192.168.0.1 address of the router, the browser just waits like that. Its like its connecting. So what I did to temporarily solve the problem is turn off the power to the modem & router, turn it on. Wait for a while then connect again. Does this usually happen? The pc's are connected 24/7 & transfer data all the time. Anyway to fix this problem

Is there something on the router modem that allows you to turn the Stand By feature off?

No. If there is, standby works when there is no traffic. The traffic is intense, then suddenly halts.
