avx, we're not at war with a Qatar-based news network. If the US government wants to cyber-attack Iraqi computers, they have my blessing, but if you're attacking property of civilians, of another nation, and you're attacking the only free press that the Arab world has, then you're not acting on behalf of the America I believe in.

Good point Paul, but personally I dont like the media at all, I feel all of them are misleading, and careless to the fact of the effects they have on people with the use of their words, like "Vital information that could save you and your entire families life...Saturday night at 8pm" with it being like wednesday or something...and then you have these poor souls that get all worked up, and let paranoia get to them, and then on saturday turns out all it is, is a review of the duct tape and plastic sheeting stuff...Its rediculous! So if its a media website, CNN or Iraq, I dont really care...

But here's a curve ball for you, what if it was the Iraqi's themselves...Just trying to make themselves look more and more like the innocent victims. Then the traitors get all worked up and start protesting more and more, and then you just have MORE of a division between the American peopel...

But the Iraqis aren't victims, and they don't even like Al Jazeera very much.

Personally, Al Jazeera is better quality information than most of the crap that passes for journalism. Al Jazeera has many journalists killed, tortured, threatened, etc. every year, and I really respect people who are willing to put their lives on the line because they believe in a free press. Certainly I respect them a lot more than your average American anchorperson.
