SadMan WAS a bad man, now he is history. This thing in Iraq is also aimed at making the US a better (and safer) place. What has gone on there is no differnt than if we took on the AIDS problem or homelessness or what ever. Fix it a bit at a time I say! Keep on going until the job is done.

Whats wrong with the US as it is right now? We have rights, freedoms, an at the moment..bad economy but is rebounding nicely

while we have problems at home, AIDS is running rampant across the globe, cancer is going uncured, and homeless people are everywhere (even in my small town).

Being a little over dramatic there arnt we...its bad in Africa, and is an issue in Asia...but its hardly running rampant, and both of those countries are plagued with many bad diseases, simply because they do not have a stable goverment, a good economy, and a reasonbly repsonsible society, like the great US has been blesses with...and we have found cures for certain cancers at certain stages...it aint like we arnt doing nothing...Ive lost a friend to cancer, but due to our current abilities to treat cancer he was able to spend 7 more months with his daughter...time I KNOW he enjoyed.

i know Saddam is a bad man, but before we make the world a better palce, we should make America a better place

America is a good place, you take for granted far too many luxuries that you benefit from...If you lived 1 week in Iraq you would think American was heaven itself...There is a reason why so many Mexicans, Cubans, and Hatians rick their lives to come here...they know how good america is, and they are willing to bet their lives to live here...

America has a far more responsible society than most...Atleast in America if something bad happens to someone, people tyr and help one another, and try and repair the dmg that was done...over there...they loot and steal and its every man for themself...

Its not the fact that you cant support the soldiers without support the President, cause of course you can do what you please(One of those real cool things about America). Its the fact that what good does it do to say your a great guy to a soldier and then say your a dumb president who uses these great soldiers as mindless pawns...I dont think people understand how much it insults a soldier to call him a mindless pawn..or to assume that he doesnt know what he's fighting for...Hes fighting for his country...

Just becaus esomeones a soldier doesn't mean that I can't disagree with him. I don't think killing Saddam has anything to do with the good of our country, just Bush's ratings.
