I don't know who is responsible for this, but it has been reported that people are getting emails that tell them that voting has been extended this year. It goes on to say that if you are planning to vote democratic you vote on Tuesday, and if you are planning to vote Rebublican, you vote on Wednesday. I have only heard one report on this so I don't know how widespread it is, but there is only one election day, Tuesday.

yeah, I have received that email a few times already and once it said that Repubs are to vote tues and dems wends, while vice-versa in a few of the other emails. I thought it was funny, and I don't think that to many people will be fooled by it. If they are fooled by it, then they're to dumb to vote anyway.

Here in NC they offer what is called "no excuses voting" allowing people to vote any time during a 2 week period prior to the election to improve voter turn out.
