Thumbs down

Today allegations were made that Al Gore was arrested twice in the seventies for reckless driving. The Gore camp lied and stated that it never happened. Only when confronted by the statement of one of the arresting officers did they admit to the truth.

People, I live in the State of Tennessee. Here you can get arrested for reckless driving for going 15 miles an hour over the limit depending on the mood of the trooper. It is truly no big deal. But why would they lie? The only reason I can think of is that it is just another example of the disdain and contempt the Dems have for the American people. At least when Bush got caught he admitted it an took his lumps. I'll bet Clydefo and Bob will have very good spin about this to.

Mike Fleming of WREC Radio AM 600 was talking about it today. He is as good a source as any and better than most. He has what I call Journalistic integrity.

Be interesting to see if it hits the wire. I know the Bush campaign wouldnt peddle anything like this, so the source would be interesting to know.

I'll wait and see.

I have been on the internet all day visiting NEWS sites. Have not seen a thing.

Anything is possible.
I did see that Gores son had a 100mph speeding ticket and that info may have been delayed until after the DMC.

I will wait for your link

LIke Carl Price, I live in Tennessee as well, I agree it is easy to get pulled over by cops for no real reason.

Once I took a job 3rd shift job at a factor. I met a guy there the first day that drive about half the route I took, so we decided to take turns driving.

Mistake One....
He had just moved to Tennessee from Maryland.

Mistake 2
He still had out of state car tags and liecene.

WHat happened

In a 2 week period we got pulled over 3 times. The first time a cop got behind us at the City line, followed us about 2 miles, then 2 more cop cars pulled up then they pulled us over. Said we are crossing the yellow lines Bull Sh*T.

It was fun trying to explan that we had just started working the night shift, he had just moved to the area, they had seperated us and ask us question..

The funny question were, the cop looked right at me and ask me if I knew the guy that was driving.....Where we were going....

We had to other times getting stopped in that 2 week period, No tickets, but I personally believed it was because of his out of state tags, however there is noway to prove that.

Once he changed to a Tennessee tag we never had a problem with the local cops....

LawyerRon if you read this, tell me do some people make good cases about the only reason that they had got tickets was because they are from out of state...

I believe that cop figure that out of state people won't come back to fight a ticket, most court appearances are about a month after the fact if someone want to fight it, which makes it more of a plain to fight it, instead of paying it.

Personal I don't believe all cop are corrupt or anything, but I do believe some are.
